A Family of Pipe Doctors
Mike opened Gridiron Inc., following in the footsteps of his father Ron who began his plumbing apprenticeship when he was 19. Learning the trade in the 80's gave Ron the opportunity to learn tricks and methods that required more brain power than power tools. Today he shares those tricks with every plumber that gets hired at Gridiron.
Building off of Ron’s 45 years experience, the father-son duo have cultivated a reputation for honest communication, high-quality work and an expertise at designing and building complex piping systems. They have worked alongside every type of trade and have decades of experience managing subcontractors in the mechanical envelope.
Over the lifetime of Gridiron, Mike's mom Michele, sister Jennifer, and brother Riley have also worked at Gridiron as a bookkeeper, office manager and labourer. Making it a family affair meant that communal values were easily shared and the level of trust in one another made for a fun and productive workplace.
